Our design for a new seven storey hotel extension to the existing Park Hotell Gardermoen is now being built. The new hotel will be a Radisson Red hotel that increase guest capacity with 217 rooms.
Completion is estimated to be at the end of 2021 and will in addition to new hotel rooms add new meeting rooms, gym and outdoor atrium park.
Herman Hagelsteen assumes new position as partner at NIELSTORP+ architects. Prior to joining our team in 2016 Herman worked for eight years in Hong Kong designing and planning large mixed use projects.
As partner Herman will in addition to being a project architect work on business development.
Lundsjordet is a residential project currently being planned in Eidsvoll. Consisting of several buildings of 3-8 floors each with their own distinct architectural styles. The project also contains pedestrian walkways, bicycle lanes and green areas.
Facade construction is well underway for our office and retail building in Tromsø. Comprising of 5 office floors over a supermarket at street level, the building will bring new life to a once dilapidated site in Tromsø. The building will include a double height streetspace complete with glass roof which will run the entire length of the city block creating a new link in the city.
Our project Rødbank quater is a city block in Tromsø which opened early this year. It is situated in the old town at the intersection of two main streets and next to the cathedral park.
This is a new two story extension of the existing Oslofjord Convention Centre. The building contains a varied program with lobby areas, meeting rooms, multi-use hall, industrial kitchen, delivery centre and technical rooms.
Every year the office goes on a study trip abroad to see and get inspired by what is being designed and built around the world. The aim is to always try to see new projects in new places. This year we went to Estonia to investigate whats up in the Baltics.
