We won silver at MIPIM ASIA AWARDS 2019!

At the award ceremony in Hong Kong on November 27th, the results for the award categories was revealed. In the category Best Office Development, NIELSTORP+ architects won the silver award for our design of “The Home of China Eastern Airlines” in Shanghai, China.

MIPIM Asia Awards 2019 — is the prestigious awards otherwise known as the “Oscars of the Asian real estate world”, and NIELSTORP+ architects is the sole Nordic winner at this year’s awards with Niels A. Torp as Chief Design Officer on the project. At the awards ceremony Project Manager Øyvind Neslein accepted the award on his behalf.

We won the architectural competition for the design of the 245 000m² headquarters for 15 000 employees, labeled “The home of China Eastern Airlines” at Hongqiao Airport, Shanghai. The project was completed in 2018.
